Q: How soon do online orders ship?

Online orders received Monday-Friday BEFORE 2:00PM are shipped SAME DAY! Orders received after 2:00PM, Monday-Saturday are shipped the next business day (excludes Sunday as we're closed spending time with our families!). Orders received after 2:00PM on Friday, Saturday or Sunday are mailed the following business day i.e. Monday.

Please note that although Priority Mail is usually received within 1-3 days, it does vary by location, whereas Priority Express is usually received within 1 day. Some rural/small town areas may require 2-day delivery timeframes due to USPS delivery limitations.

 

Q: How should I care for my Prissy Lady Virgin Hair?

You should care for your hair as if it were your own hair (because it is...you paid for it!) which requires you to wash and condition your virgin hair at least once a week.

Your hair should easily last 12 months or more with proper care. Check out some of our blog posts for more information on how to keep your bundles looking brand new!

  1. Shampoo at least once a week
  2. Use a shampoo no higher than pH 7
  3. Dilute one ounce of shampoo in a bowl or jug with a pint of warm water

  2. Do not massage hair, only sponge shampoo

We recommend styling aids such as mousse, gel and hairspray in moderation (preferably alcohol free products).

 

Q: How should I prepare my Prissy Lady Virgin Hair for bedtime?

We recommend that you either wrap your hair and use a bonnet OR braid your hair into one loose large braid at the back of the neck. After waking up, undo the braid or remove the bonnet and comb through beginning at the ends and working your way up to roots.

 

Q: What if I plan to swim with my Prissy Lady Virgin Hair?

If you'd like to swim with your Prissy Lady Virgin Hair, that’s perfectly fine.However we recommend that you take certain precautions in order to prevent undesired tangling. Here's how...

  • We do not recommend ocean water (salt water).
  • Never wear a swimming cap or anything that covers your hair.
  • Comb out tangles before swimming.
  • Braid hair into one braid at back of neck.
  • Immediately after showering, undo braid, comb hair and let air-dry.
  • Follow with appropriate shampooing and conditioning as needed.
